Mid Year Wrap Up

Goal for the year: 80 books

Current books read: 25

Pages read: 11,044

Am I behind on my Goodreads goal? Yes.

Am I really behind on it? Yes.

But I’m still going to keep trying!

In the meantime, these are the books I have completed this year so far.

This was the only month I did a separate wrap up for, which can be found here.

Favourite book of the month: Poison Study. I’ve bought the next 2 in the series but still haven’t gotten back to them. Hopefully soon!

There was a mix of genres happening in February! Magical realism, autobiography, children’s fiction and fantasy! What a whirlwind.

Favourite book of the month: Becoming. This was such a brilliant book, and the audio was narrated by Michelle herself. It was a great way to hear her story :)

I was actually on holidays in March, but somehow didn’t get that much reading done. That being said, Night Film was about 600 pages!

Favourite book of the month: Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was everything I was expecting and more! I’ve been meaning to read Taylor Jenkins Reid for so many years, and I’m so glad I finally got around to it :)

This was a fun month! Some re-reads, a Christie I’ve wanted to read for a long time, and a new favourite historical romance author.

Favourite book of the month: This is hard to decide as The Book Thief and Guernsey Literary were re-reads, and some of my favourite books of all time! So, excluding those, I’d have to go with The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

Another favourite re-read, plus more Cathy Maxwell. This series was so fun!

Favourite book of the month: Once again, this involved a re-read of a favourite: 1984. Apart from that, probably A Date at the Alter.

June (thus far)

June has been a great reading month so far! I have loved all 4 of the books I’ve already read. All of which have been around 500-600 pages though. So it’s been quite a month! Looking forward to continuing on the fantasy binge I’m on :)

Favourite book of the month: Foundryside. Cannot wait for the sequel to come out in 2020!

I’m definitely feeling like reading fantasy right now, and am looking forward to finishing the Keeper of the Lost Cities series (of which there are currently 7 out, with 8 coming in November!).

Looking forward to seeing where the rest of the year takes me in terms of reading :)
